Responsibilities and Duties

  • Repairing period sash and casement windows. This involves the removal of rotting and decaying timber, cutting and shaping new timber to be spliced into damaged windows using repair care system.
  • Removing and replacing damaged glass
  • Removal and replacement of garden fences and gates
  • Hanging replacement doors
  • General maintenance of period sash windows
  • Full and competent use of a wide range of power tools


Qualifications Required

GCSE A-C in English and Maths or equivalent


Personal Qualities and Skills

  • Punctuality: Work starts at 8am and finishes at 4pm. A pick-up point can be arranged.
  • Health and safety: you must understand health and safety in the workplace
  • Teamwork: Must be able to work as part of a team, and take and follow instructions
  • Candidate must have CSCS Card before interview


PPE and tools will be provided but candidates will need their own steel toe boots.

Driver preferred or transport can be arranged to and from site.
