THE ROLE

You will be assisting the Senior Engineer day to day during visits to domestic and commercial properties. Your progress will be reviewed at various stages to ensure you are on track to pass your City & Guilds 6189 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing & Heating Level 2.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure all jobs are scheduled in correctly to assist with coordinating daily job rotas.
  • Assist with all boiler installations, plumbing and property maintenance work.
  • Carry out maintenance work as required and unsupervised according to ability.
  • Flexible availability to suit weekend and evening work as required
  • Undertake any other related responsibilities commensurate with the evolving objectives of the post and the evolution of Blueman Pumbing, as may reasonably be

 

Training to be provided

This qualification is made up of:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating
  • Functional Skills in English at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in Mathematics at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in ICT at Level 1
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)

 

THE CANDIDATE

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • 5, A* - C GCSEs or equivalent an advantage
  • City & Guilds 6189 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing & Heating Level 2 an advantage

  • Confidence and ability to communicate clearly, friendly and professionally with a range of clients, including non-native English speakers.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team environment.
