Beats Learning are looking for a Support Worker to do an apprentice in Youth Work at Level 3, who will be based in Croydon (preferably living in the area), with some possible travel to other sites, with a passion to support Young People.


You will have the opportunity to learn on the job and get paid. An apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to learn how to perform various business administrative and customer based tasks, supported by a training programme designed to develop your skills, experience and knowledge.

We are looking for an Apprentice who have good communication skills, commitment, enthusiasm and IT skills. As part of your apprenticeship there are opportunities to study Maths, English and IT skills. Whilst undertaking an apprenticeship with us you will gain knowledge and skills by participating in a learning and development programme which includes undertaking an NVQ, on the job training and other relevant internal and external training courses. This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive, customer-orientated apprentices to join the team at Beats Learning.


Learner Support

  • To provide practical support to learners
  • Enable learners to achieve their learning objectives.
  • To create a support plan with the learner
  • Develop a rapport with individual learners
  • Ensuring appropriate boundaries are understood and maintained.
  • Provide practical support in enabling learners’ attendance
  • Support the protection of individuals at risk
  • To have the ability to work with people in distress
  • Referring on learners who may exhibit challenging behaviour and complex needs
  • Participate in the enrolment process.


General Duties

  • Attending meetings, standardisations and taking minutes where appropriate.
  • Updating student records throughout the admissions process.
  • Working flexibly across the team to provide support where needed during peak periods.
  • Share best practice and contribute to improvements across all departments.
  • Undertaking other administrative and clerical duties as directed by the MD and Operations Manager.
  • Attend recruitment events, fairs, open days and end of term shows.



Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of Level 1 in English, Maths & ICT
