Monday – Friday, 7am - 3pm
You will be supporting a management team that are assigned to look after the well-being of the building and all residents. It will be a role which requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with different individuals including international clients. The role will also involve a lot of proactive responses and ability to work of your own initiative.
Responsibilities and duties will include: - RECEPTION/OFFICE • Empty bins • Clean office and reception area – dust desk, computer, shelves • Dust all surfaces • Wash any dirty glasses/mugs • Hoover and mop • Empty shredder machine LOBBY (Please ensure ‘Wet Floor Signs’ are used when mopping) • Hoover and mop floors • Dust sofa, table, fire extinguishers • Polish glass front doors • Clean lights and radiators COMMUNAL AREAS • Clean all floors • Polish two sets of glass doors on each floor • Hoover all corridors and lift lobby • Polish lift doors • Hoover lift • Use Air Freshener on all floors • Clean stairs once a week LAUNDRY ROOM • Clean the dryer and washing machine • Dust all surfaces • Take rubbish out • Hoover and mop the floor OUTSIDE AREAS • Check the area surrounding the building for rubbish • Clean ground floor windows END OF TENANCY CLEANING (liaise with maintenance supervisor to co-ordinate painting etc) • Defrost freezer • Apply cleaning products in the bathroom and kitchen • Take rubbish out • If very dusty/dirty hoover first • Clean balcony, doors, windows and blinds • Deep clean of bathroom, including extractor fan • Deep clean of all kitchen cupboards and appliances (descaling of kettle) • Clear and sweep balcony • Wash mattress protector and flip mattress • Clean all furniture, dust picture frames, polish mirror • Clean skirting boards and switches AD HOC • Distribute post • Assisting Maintenance if and where possible • Superficial cleaning service offered to all tenants • To adhere to all safety regulations, company policies and standards
The ideal candidate must have: • Previous experience as a Cleaner, preferably in a hotel/similar residential property • Good communication with ability to use email and internet • Uses own initiative and is proactive, ability to work under pressure • Presentable appearance • Flexibility, adaptability and resilience • Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise • Strong customer service • Attention to detail and high standard of finish
