PCSG has been at the forefront of driving sport and sustainability and more recently our involvement in providing government agencies with strategic advice to maximise delivery of economic development, regeneration and development projects using digital technology, continues to grow. We’re now looking to further expand our team.


You will be involved in its ongoing development, working closely with our senior team to carry out research, both desk-based and through stakeholder engagement, utilise our analytical tools to help identify impact and prioritise actions. You will have played a key role in project delivery working with other members of the team to delivery world class advice.


This is an excellent opportunity to work in a truly multi-disciplinary business to build your skills and knowledge and deliver excellence for our clients in the public and private sectors.You will have a degree in environmental science, economic development, local government policy or similar.The role will be based in the UK with some potential for travel


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Delivery of projects relating to sustainability, local authority strategy, economic development and strategic planning throughout the UK with some international scope
  • Delivery of environmental and socio-economic assessments and appraisals across public and private sector requirements, e.g., natural capital assessments, carbon foot printing, skills analysis
  • Good communication and facilitation, including authoring reports and coordinating inputs, carrying out stakeholder interviews and supporting workshop delivery 
  • Maintaining positive client relationships
  • Understanding of socio-economic principles associated with development and infrastructure
  • Effective writing skills 
  • Ability to carry out desktop and workshop-based discovery sessions
  • Ability to work within project budget and project teams

  • Knowledge of smart cities and digital technology and how it can add value and deliver efficiencies to existing processes and practices
