CALAT is one of the largest adult education providers in the country offering more than 500 part-time courses every year in various venues across the borough of Croydon on behalf of Croydon Council.
Our award-winning provision has been delivering courses to residents in the borough for over 70 years. The programme includes a variety of recreational, academic, pre-vocational and vocational courses in childcare and teaching assistant training, creative arts, health and social care, business administration, ICT, languages, English and maths, English for speakers of other languages and courses for adults with learning disabilities.
We also work with businesses and employers to deliver training aimed at raising the skills level of employees and developing the workforce.
This is an opportunity to complete a short online course about Manual Handling and Safety at Work. Now more than ever employees and employers need to have practical knowledge concerning how to work safely .
The course will commence with an induction and tutor guidance concerning completion of the Course Workbook. At the end of the course you will have a 1-1 appointment with the course tutor . Completion of the Course Workbook will enable you to be awarded City and Guilds E3 Award in Employability Skills
The course covers :
Course days: Wednesday and Thursday - Learners will need to attend both sessions each week
Time: 10:00 -12:00
Session Dates :
3rd and 4th June - Induction with course tutor at 10am
10th and 11th June 10am-12pm
17th and 18th June 10am-12pm
24th June - Exit discussion with each learner (appointments for this will be made by course tutor )
