Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team, specifically looking for candidates who lives in the Croydon area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that support construction and maintenance projects, ensuring all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and clean-up of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general labour tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role or similar position is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is preferred.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
CSCS card required!
