Purpose

•       Provide a safe and nurturing space for young people accessing the Youth Zone

•       Plan engaging and interactive cooking sessions

•       Support young people to engage in activities 

 

Time Commitment

•       Up to 4 hours a week

Main responsibilities 

•       Help participants develop cooking skills including food safety practices

•       Lead cookery sessions effectively, providing clear instructions

•       Create easy recipes that are easy to follow and recreate at home

•       Establish clear professional boundaries

•       Adhere to Legacy Youth Zone Health and Safety Policy

•       Adhere to Legacy Youth Zone Safeguarding Children Policy

 

Skills and Attributes

•       Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well in a team

•       Passion for cooking food

•       Patience, empathy and a positive

•       Reliable & punctual

•       A positive, non-judgemental,

•       Patient and flexible attitude towards young people
