We are looking to recruit two D1 Minibus Drivers for an initial 3-month temporary contract for the London Borough of Croydon.

 

Job Title: D1 Minibus Driver

Pay Rate: £15.19 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: Monday- Friday, 9.15 am -11.15 am / 3 pm- 5 pm

Duration: 3-month temporary contract

 

You must possess a valid PCV D1 (minibus) driving licence to apply for this role. 

DUTIES:

 

  • Drive minibuses for passengers as directed, including transporting residents attending Dementia centres to and from the centres and their homes
  • Work from a passenger list
  • Be responsible for vehicle safety
  • Carry out safety checks on the vehicle
  • Lawfully use a mobile phone and communicate with the team and necessary contacts
  • Assist passengers as necessary
  • Attend meetings when required
  • Undertake other non-passenger duties when required

 

Candidate requirements:

 

  • Must possess a full current and valid (manual) driving licence (D1 restricted minimum).
  • Be polite and empathetic with service users
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good level of English
  • Have a valid DBS
