Jumeriah Carlton Tower is looking to recruit experienced Room Attendants to cater to routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of personal hygiene.

 

You will adhere to housekeeping standard operating procedures in line with Jumeirah philosophy and luxury status.

Experience in a similar role preferred, but the right attitude, personality and willingness to work considered.

 

Full-time 40 hours per week.

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of assigned blocks, including guest corridors, back-of-house areas, stairways, lift landings, guest/service lifts, and service pantries by performing routine cleaning duties.
  • Collect scattered trash, empty trash containers, replace soiled bedding and bathroom linen with fresh items, and report unpleasant odours to the team leader.
  • Conduct deep cleaning tasks in designated areas, including bathrooms, closets, door tracks, and furniture, and ensure proper alignment of furniture.
  • Attending guest calls, requests, and complaints in assigned areas, providing turndown services as per standard requirements, and deliver/retrieve items on loan to guests.
  • Follow operational standards for replenishment, including inspecting and replacing bathrobes, bathroom linen, tissue, amenities, hangers, extra blankets/pillows, luggage racks, laundry bags, and guest complimentary water.
  • Keep all equipment on assigned blocks clean and in good working condition to maximise their lifespan.
  • Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment procedures, instructions, and controls, as well as Security guidelines and procedures.
  • Report and deposit lost and found items to Security, and report valuable items found unattended in occupied rooms.
  • Handle guest complaints courteously and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction, and report unresolved issues to Team Leaders.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to deliver luxurious service to guests in line with Jumeirah standards of excellence.
