Cleaning Operatives

Shifts available:

• Bernard Weatherill House - Housekeeper - 12.5 hour per week Mon to Fri mornings (hours to be discussed)
• Bernard Weatherill House - Housekeeper  - 9am to 12pm – Mon to Fri (15 hours per week)
• Bernard Weatherill House - Evening Cleaner - 5pm to 9pm – Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)
• 22-26 George Street, Croydon - Cleaner 6am to 9.30am Monday to Friday (17 hours per week)
• Zodiac House, London Road, Croydon - Cleaner (Mon/Wed/Fri) 8am to 12pm (12 hours per week)
• Sycamore House, London Road, Croydon  - Cleaner -  Mon/Wed/Fri (12 hours per week)

Main Duties:

The following list is not exhaustive, and other duties and responsibilities of a similar level and nature may be required from time to time.

• To carry out cleaning functions in accordance with schedules and working targets as agreed by the Account Manager
• To maintain an effective and safe working environment
• To ensure that all equipment is correctly utilised and maintained
• To communicate effectively and maintain customer relationships
• To attend training as and when required
• Take responsibility for ensuring adequate stock levels and consumables are ordered in a timely manner
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Ensure that any chemical usage and storage adheres to COSHH regulations
• Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Chequers' Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times
• Any reasonable request by management

Candidate requirements:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential
• Reliable
• Punctual
• Good level of English
• Able to work unsupervised
• Relevant CV required
