  • Track Induction Course (TIC)
  • Hand Tools/ Small Plant Training and Assessment
  • Manual Handling
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Fire Awareness
  • Safety Awareness
  • City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Rail Engineering Track Maintenance
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Rail Engineering Underpinning Knowledge

Eligibility:

 

  • A resident of Croydon
  • Must be 19 years or older at the start of the academic year
  • Must be unemployed or seeking employment
  • Must be able to commit to a 6 - 8 week course: Monday - Friday / 9am-4pm (course will take place at John Ruskin College in Croydon)
  • Minimum English level: Entry 3 ESOL

  • All candidates have to attend an information session before enrolling (date TBC)
