As a Business Support Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing administrative support within the facilities management team. This role is designed to offer a comprehensive introduction to the business environment, allowing you to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience. As an apprentice you will be studying Level 3 Business Administration for 20% of the work week. As an apprenticeship this will be an initial 18 month Fixed Term Contract which could lead to permanent employment
Key Accountabilities and Results Areas
Administrative Support
Assist in handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
Manage filing systems, both digital and physical
Ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible
Data entry and maintenance of databases
Mail and reprographics duties
Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for internal and external queries, providing information or redirecting as necessary
Assist in managing customer inquiries and feedback
Communication Skills
Actively listens to others
Clearly articulates ideas and thoughts
Offers constructive feedback
Keeps the team informed about progress and challenges.
Essential
High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing education in business administration or related field is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
Basic understanding of business operations and administrative processes.
