As part of Care Leavers Month we are offering an opportunity for People who have experienced Care (Care Leavers) to spend a day to learn about a Construction.

 

This project is lead by the Council and developed by Lovells. In person, Lunch provided, this day is at Regina Road

Only Care Experienced people need apply 

 

As part of the day attendees will meet Council staff who are project managers, finance, Comms & PR and resident engagement. Lovells (Construction Firm) will introducing careers and opportunities in the Construction field.

 

The day will investigate;

 

·       Back ground about Regina Road. ITV documentary that presents background

·       Demolition and New design

·       Risks of doing a new development

·       Resident Engagement

·       Legal – CPO, Contract, ROL, Parking, Trees, Environment

·       Finance – Payments

·       Caretaking

·       Quantity Surveyor

·       Employers Agent

·       Health & Safety

·       Media & Social Value

·       Governance – Cabinet and Project Board
