Mace Group who are delivering the stunning Pier 6 extension development at London Gatwick Airport are offering unpaid work experience placements for Croydon residents looking to work in the Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Construction Project Management sector.
One week work experience placement.
Dates: TBC.
The placement is highly likely to be a rotational overview of the different departments of construction, shadowing colleagues, supporting them and finding out what types of duties and tasks are associated with their roles e.g:
- Health & Safety
- Construction Management
- Design Management
- Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying
- Project Management
It will last for one week (Monday to Friday). 9:30am – 4:30pm.
Candidate requirements:
- Candidates should be 18+ due to insurance.
- Studied or subjects related to construction / engineering / STEMs preferred.
- Able to travel to London Gatwick
- 5-Year Checkable History (work and residency)
- Wanting to work in Construction or Engineering
