Kingsley - Delivery Driver

In August 2019, Croydon Works delivered an industry specific Customer Delivery Driver Training Course. This course comprised of two elements. FIrst of all, our wonderful trainer taught candidates about customer service which covered 5 days. Then, we held a 3 hour driving lesson in a van to provide candidates with the required skills to become a Customer Service Delivery Driver. One of the best things about this course is that all of our candidates were guaranteed an interview assessment with some of Croydon's leading supermarket chains. 

One of these candidates was 57 year old Kingsley... 

“At the time I started Croydon Works Driver Training Course, I was 57 years old and felt I had no chance of getting another job. I attended the Croydon Works Driver Training Course with little hope of getting a job at the end of it.

Turns out I was wrong, a lot of what I forgot about the interview process was taught in the class along with mock interviews, and with a clear understanding of what the job would require. The trainer was also proficient in her knowledge of the subject. All other staff at Croydon Works and in training were easy to approach and always on hand, if not in person then via e-mail.
