EMHIP (Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Programme) Mobile Hub Support Worker

The Mobile Hub Support Worker plays a key role in delivering culturally sensitive, person-centred support to individuals and families within Croydon’s Global Majority communities, particularly those from Black and Asian backgrounds. This role requires strong triage and decision-making skills to assess individual needs effectively and respond promptly, ensuring timely access to appropriate support and services.

 

As a member of the Ethnicity Mental Health Improvement Project (EMHIP) Mobile Hub team, the Support Worker will operate across faith-based venues, community settings, and educational institutions in Croydon to reduce long-standing inequalities in access, experience and outcomes in mental health services.

 

Fixed short-term contract till March 2026 (potential to extend).

 

Full-time 37.5 hours a week. £30,000 per year.
