We are looking to take on two Scaffolding Apprentices to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career.

 

You’ll be working along experienced scaffolders, gaining hands-on experience while working towards recognised qualifications.

 

Location: Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon, CR0 6BA

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: Competitive apprentice rate (with progression)

Pre-Employment Construction Programme

• The London Construction Academy
• 37.5 hours per week

Our construction pre-employment course is a fantastic way of gaining the skills and qualifications you need to start a career in construction in London.

 

Our centres are based in the heart of major construction and engineering projects across London, including Earls Court, Stratford and Canada Water.

 

This course will not only help you build new skills in the classroom but also place you right amongst the action on a construction site, working alongside a workforce that will provide you with a true insight into the world of construction.

 

Following this, you'll receive a guaranteed interview for a full-time role!

 

Candidates must be over the age of 18, unemployed, or economically inactive (not claiming any benefits) to access funding.

You will need to be 19 or older to be eligible for this opportunity. You will have an hour with a trained advisor to help create or update your CV and offer career advice.

The Construction Sector-Based Work Academy Programme prepares learners for a career in the construction sector. At the end of the course, providing you pass, you will receive a free CSCS Card allowing you to access construction opportunities. 

 

You will need to attend an enrolment session first - these are held every Monday except bank holidays.
