The Construction Sector-Based Work Academy Programme prepares learners for a career in construction. At the end of the course, providing you pass, you will receive a free CSCS Card allowing you to access construction opportunities.
The Construction Sector-Based Work Academy Programme prepares learners for a career in construction, through a 5 day training programme.
The 5 day programme includes:
- CSCS card knowledge, revision, test and card
- Health and Safety for the construction environment
- Information session from leading construction employers
- CV and interview skills support
- 1:1 advice and guidance to help you with your next steps
- A guaranteed interview
Qualification Criteria
- Be aged 19 or over before enrolling on the course
- Live within the Borough of Croydon
- Provide a copy of a valid ID prior to course (passport or birth certificate)
- Be able to enrol on to the course prior to the start date
- Be able to attend all days of the course at the venue (09:30 - 16:00)
