We are currently seeking skilled roofers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a range of roofing systems and be confident in delivering repairs, renewals, and diagnostics to a high standard. This role is suitable for operatives with a strong health and safety focus, particularly in working at height environments.

Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm. £20 - £26 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

Salary Range: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out roofing repairs, installations, and diagnostics on pitched and flat roofs
- Install and repair roof coverings including tiles, slates, felt, lead, GRP, EPDM, and other systems
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and weatherproofing standards
- Identify defects such as water ingress, slipped tiles, or rotten timber and carry out appropriate remedial work
- Safely strip and re-tile roofs while protecting structural integrity and occupants
- Install or upgrade roof insulation, ventilation, and fire-stopping where required
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures when working at height or with hazardous materials
- Complete risk assessments and submit relevant documentation including before/after photos and RAMS
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Trade-specific CSCS card (must be valid and in date)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing or equivalent trade experience
- COSHH training (in date)
- Face Fit Test (in date)
- UKATA Asbestos Awareness (in date)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle or ability to hire one for work purposes
Mandatory Competencies:
- Ability to assess roof defects and specify appropriate repairs or replacements
- Competent in leadwork, flashing installation, and weatherproofing techniques
- Able to complete method statements and RAMS independently
- Knowledge of ventilation standards to reduce condensation and improve energy efficiency
- Proficient in manual handling and ladder/scaffold safety procedures
