Clocktower Café is a busy family-run café situated in the heart of Croydon.
We are looking to recruit a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter to work 4 hours per day across six days (Monday to Friday).
Previous experience in a similar environment is desired - this includes basic food preparation. Must be reliable and punctual.
£13 ph rising to £13.75 ph after probation.
Main duties:
- Washing-up
- Cleaning the kitchen
- Stock replenishment
- Handling deliveries
- Assisting the chef in making hot and cold food
- Making breakfasts and lunches (English Breakfast, specialised lunches, paninis)
The candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar environment is desired
- Basic food preparation
- Washing up

- Checking stock
- Ability to follow instructions
- Can work on own initiative
- Reliable and punctual
