Business Support Apprentice

As a Business Support Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing administrative support within the facilities management team. This role is designed to offer a comprehensive introduction to the business environment, allowing you to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience. As an apprentice you will be studying Level 3 Business Administration for 20% of the work week. As an apprenticeship this will be an initial 18 month Fixed Term Contract which could lead to permanent employment 

Level 3 Hospitality Supervision and Leadership

Level 3 Hospitality Supervision and Leadership Course.

 

Level 3 Hospitality Supervision and Leadership Course is a City & Guilds qualification.

 

Learners will have to complete a 1 hour intro course on the 15th April (10-11am)

 

10-week course - online workshop once a week starts 22nd April 2026

XO Barbers Training Programme

Marking a major milestone in our growth at Onwards & Upwards, and building on the success of XO Bikes, we’re excited to announce our second venture: XO Barbers.

 

As the name suggests, XO Barbers will train people with experience of the justice system to become professional barbers, and help them to rebuild their lives.

 

The programme will last for 12 weeks and leads to a Level 2 Certification in Barbering and Haircutting.

 

Opportunity only open to Ex-Offenders or those at risk of offending.

Free CV Online Support Session 2026

FREE 1 to 1 CV Support Session with an Employability Advisor from CALAT.

 

You will need to be 19 or older to be eligible for this opportunity. You will have an hour with a trained advisor to help create or update your CV and offer career advice.

 

Next Available Sessions; 13 April, 27 April, 11 May, 1 June, 15 June, 29 June, 13 July, 27 July.

XO Bikes - 16 Week Bicycle Mechanics Course for Ex-Offenders

• 24 hours per week

Our free accredited bicycle mechanics course delivered in our Lewisham training workshop.

 

We provide all training materials plus support for your travel and lunches.

 

16-week accredited training course. 4 days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10am - 4 pm. (Wednesdays are off for probation). 

 

Opportunity only open to Ex-Offenders or those at risk of offending.
