Cleaning Operative

Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors in various commercial areas including offices, hallways, and lobbies.
• Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
• Waste Management: Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet cleaners. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and materials. Notify the supervisor when supplies are low or need replenishment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Communication: Work effectively with team members and supervisors, utilizing Spanish language skills to ensure clear and efficient communication.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is required to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods. Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
