We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in commercial cleaning and be fluent in Spanish.
This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Various shifts available. £12.15 - £13.15 per hour (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors in various commercial areas including offices, hallways, and lobbies.
- Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet cleaners. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
- Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and materials. Notify the supervisor when supplies are low or need replenishment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
- Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Communication: Work effectively with team members and supervisors, utilizing Spanish language skills to ensure clear and efficient communication.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is required to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods. Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
