Female or Male Support Worker

Support worker to provide friendship and support to 24-year-old male. He presents with mild learning difficulties which manifest as difficulty with concentration and a short attention span, as he can be very easily distracted. He also has occasional seizures which require you to use a Vagal Nerve Stimulator (we can provide training). You would help him develop his independent living skills including shopping, cooking and cleaning and personal skills such as maintaining good hygiene, taking medication on time, good sleeping habits and managing his epilepsy.  He is very sociable and enjoys playing basketball, video games and spending time with his friends.

You will need:

•      Patience, understanding, kindness and an outgoing personality.

•      Good communication skills and a clear speaking voice

•      Experience in epilepsy management and medication administration

•      A sense of fun!
