We are currently seeking a skilled and committed carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a variety of residential and commercial projects and be confident delivering work to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Construct, install, and repair frameworks, doors, floors, partitions, and other wooden structures using wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials
  • Measure, mark, and cut wood or similar materials to required specifications
  • Assemble and fasten materials using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to deliver accurate finishes
  • Ensure all work complies with current building standards, safety regulations, and site health and safety requirements

 

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

 

  • Trade-specific CSCS card (must be valid)
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in Carpentry or Joinery
  • COSHH training certification (in date)
  • Face Fit Test (in date)
  • UKATA Approved Asbestos Awareness (in date)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to own vehicle or ability to hire one for site-based travel

 

Mandatory Competencies:

 

  • Ability to conduct and document detailed risk assessments
  • Skilled in preparing method statements and full RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement)
  • Proficient in manual tool handling and safe ladder use
