We are seeking motivated and committed individuals to join our team as Building Services Engineering Apprentices at our client sites.

 

This 4-year apprenticeship program will provide you with comprehensive training in the maintenance and repair of essential building services systems across our prestigious museum sites.

 

Working Days: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (including one day at Newham College.

Cleaning Operatives

We are looking to recruit experienced Cleaning Operatives for our contracted sites in Croydon.

 

To undertake all cleaning tasks in accordance with contract specifications and management instructions. Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential. 

 

Part-Time Permanent roles.

 

Various Shifts Available. Hours: 12.5  to 17 hours per week. £13.85 per hour. 

 

Previous commercial cleaning experience and a relevant CV are essential.

Evening Mobile Cleaner

Chequers Contract Services is looking for a Mobile Cleaner to work around our contracted sites in Croydon and South East London.

 

30 hours per week, permanent role. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Evenings and Sunday mornings. 

 

£13.85 per hour.

 

Full Driving Licence, previous commercial cleaning experience and a relevant CV are essential.

Lunchtime Cook

XO Bikes - 16 Week Bicycle Mechanics Course for Ex-Offenders

• 24 hours per week

Our free accredited bicycle mechanics course delivered in our Lewisham training workshop.

 

We provide all training materials plus support for your travel and lunches.

 

• Gain a Bronze, Silver or Gold Velotech Mechanical qualification on completion of the course.
• A team with experience of the prison system (licence contradictions, probation appointments and restrictions).
• Ongoing pastoral support and one-to-one sessions throughout the whole course.
• Weekly employability coaching to prepare you for your next step.

 

16-week accredited training course. 4 days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10am - 4 pm. (Wednesdays are off for probation). 

 

Opportunity only open to Ex-Offenders or those at risk of offending.

HGV Drivers required to help ensure operatives carry out all scheduled and ad-hoc work.

 

To assist in the supervision of the contract, ensuring that the requirements of the contract specifications are met and to assist the Service Delivery Manager and Supervisor in all aspects of the contract management in line with operational requirements, Healy & Safety and company procedures and legal obligations.

 

Full-time and part-time shifts available. 5am start until finish. £16.53 per hour Valid HGV Licence Essential.
